Spicy Ginger Almonds
- 1 Tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 dired arbo chili (or other dried chili)
- 1 lb of almonds (about 2 cups)
- 1 Tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees
- Mix ginger and salt in large bowl and set aside
- Heat olive oil and sesame oil in large pan (large enough to hold finished product)
- Crush, blend, pulverize, etc. dried chili and add to warmed oils for 30-45 seconds
- Add almonds and stir for 5 minutes
- Add soy sauce and Worcestershire to pan until it becomes a bit dry and sticky. About 1 minute.
- Toss with ground ginger/salt mixture
- Bake for 20 minutes
- Cool completely before storing
