Easy Homemade Nutella
If you have a Vitamix this is dead simple. Otherwise you might want to use skinned hazelnuts and a food processor.
- 1 1/4 cups roasted hazelnuts (skins on are fine if you have a Vitamix)
- 2 Tablespoons of mild oil
- 11 ounces of chocolate of choice (we like 85% dark)
- Pinch of salt
- Drizzle of vanilla extract
Throw everything in a Vitamix until it’s smooth and creamy.
Notes: Roast hazelnuts by putting on a pan and baking for about 15 minutes. You can remove the skins by rubbing with a dishtowel or shaking vigorously inside two metal bowls (FYI – this also works well for garlic cloves).
