Spicy Ginger Almonds

  • 1 Tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 dired arbo chili (or other dried chili)
  • 1 lb of almonds (about 2 cups)
  • 1 Tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees
  2. Mix ginger and salt in large bowl and set aside
  3. Heat olive oil and sesame oil in large pan (large enough to hold finished product)
  4. Crush, blend, pulverize, etc. dried chili and add to warmed oils for 30-45 seconds
  5. Add almonds and stir for 5 minutes
  6. Add soy sauce and Worcestershire to pan until it becomes a bit dry and sticky. About 1 minute.
  7. Toss with ground ginger/salt mixture
  8. Bake for 20 minutes
  9. Cool completely before storing

Makes a great, healthy snack for between meals! Almonds are on the top 10 Mayo superfoods! Eat up!
